What would you do if one day everything you love would be taken from you? And what if obscure gods will be conspiring in the dark to destroy the World as you knew it?
Wouldn’t you try to cheer the developers of this incredible story to help them getting to the end of it ASAP? :D

Indomitus Games has a new 3D artist! Let's welcome Antonio Polosa.
To make the newcomer feel at home we immediately got him to work and here is the first result. The high-poly model of the hideous Beast, created in collaboration with Alfier. Stay tuned, soon you will see this creature in action.

When our coder told me that we needed a monster that is easy to kill, I immediately thought of the Wrench from Gears of War. A tiny, yet bastard monster, not so dangerous alone, but quite troublesome when in large groups. These were the guidelines that we gave to our concept artist Denis Gualtieri.

During this months we have worked on many aspects of the game: game-play, graphics, user interface, performance and many other things. Now we are ready to show you the results of our work.
Everything in the game is still work in progress but we hope you will enjoy playing it anyway. The development is still at an early stage so we would like to gather as many information as possible from you about bugs, things that may be improved or you don't like at all. You can let us know on Facebook, Twitter or via e-mail.

A temple in the desert |

The adventures of the protagonist of In Verbis Virtus begin with a long trip in the desert in search of an ancient temple. The images you see below show the work done by our artists in the creation of this introductory part of the game.
Nothing is final yet but the result so far is already satisfactory. The goal is not to have next-generation graphics but at least to take advantage of the technologies made available from UDK, a development kit based on Unreal Engine 3, at the best of our ability.
If you have any opinions or suggestions please let us know through Facebook, Twitter or via e-mail.
New artworks for the first level |

- Details
Today we are going to show you some new artworks made by our concept artist. The first one on the left represents what our hero will find as soon as he enters the mysterious temple in the desert he went to in search of arcane knowledge. Right from the start he will come into contact with ancient powers which origin he'll discover as he will go deeper into this magical place and pass the tests he will face. The other two artworks are sketches of some of the dark corridors the character will have to go through, not without difficulty, toward his goal. These drawings are based on a fairly detailed design we did for the first level and of which we'll show you something soon.
Meanwhile we also found two willing artists who are already working to transform these drawings in three-dimensional models of which we will be able to publish screenshots in a few weeks.
Until next time.

It has been a few months since you heard from us the last time. We had little time but now we are again working at full capacity. Also in this time our 3D artists have chosen to join other projects and so we are looking for new contributors to replace them.
This does not mean that in the meantime we sat idly by. Soon we will show you many more concept arts and we will talk about the progress made about programming and level design.
I remind everyone to follow us through Facebook, Twitter or by subscribing to the newsletter.
See you soon.

Here are some artworks our 2D artist made as a base to create the first level of the game, in which the player is in the middle of an endless desert to enter the mysterious place where he will face his adventures. Taking inspiration from these drawings our 3D artists are creating models and textures for what will become the game introduction. The results so far are really good and within a few days we should show you the first screenshots. Let us know what you think about this on Facebook or Twitter.
